CLG releases Guidance on Housing Market Assessments
CLG have released the long-awaited Practice Guidance, setting out the approach to assessing housing need and demand which can inform the development of local development documents and regional spatial strategy planning for housing policies, as set out in the recently released PPS3.

DCA are leading consultants for Housing Market Assessments and have already completed a wide-ranging review of our policies and procedures for conducting this research following our involvement and discussions with CLG on the final form this Guidance has taken.

Click here to download the HMA Practice Guidance from the CLG website, to be read in conjunction with the Advice Note on Identifying Sub-Regional Housing Market Areas.

To discuss the implications of the new Guidance and our approach to it, please feel free to contact us.
